How do you get started on Pinterest
Pinterest can be a confusing platform for most of us. The question most business owners ask is how they can use the platform to make money, establish brand awareness, and build an email list.
And it is very understandable. Pinterest is a hybrid of all social media and search engine platforms which is a little bit confusing but it is its power – Pinterest is a search platform where people find information, solutions to their problems, dream, and plan for the future.
So how do you get started on Pinterest?
The first you need to do is convert your personal account into a business account.
This is important. By converting into a business account, you are showing Pinterest that you are a legitimate business that allows them to prioritize your content and your boards when people start searching your keywords or the name of your business. You can also have access to your analytics which can help you to dig deeper into what your audience is looking for, what they like, and what they want.
Next is to create a branded look for your profile, boards, and pins. Pinterest is a visual search engine platform so make sure that your boards, pins and your profile doesn’t just match your branding colors but also incorporate keywords that your ideal customer searches to find ideas.
Pin daily! Pinterest loves consistency and this has to be your pillar tactic. Don’t pin and walk away. As one of my mentors always tell me, Visibility creates opportunity. Be visible, get out there, and show them what you can do to help them. People on Pinterest go to Pinterest to solve their problems.
With these tips, I am pretty sure that this will help you break down the mystery of Pinterest and make it a platform to grow or scale your business.
